Assistant Company Secretary

The role:

A new dynamic role working as part of the Company Secretary function of a fast-paced risk management firm.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Supporting the company secretary function, including arranging board meetings and board committees, preparing relevant materials and taking minutes
  • Preparing board packs
  • Arranging management committees, preparing relevant materials and taking minutes
  • Supporting with project management tasks on occasion with new project execution
  • Assisting with the process of planning and developing the company's longterm strategy
  • Assisting with tasks for regulatory projects such as IFD/IFR & IFPR
  • Compiling monthly management reports for directors and senior stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications:


  • ICSA (part or fully qualified) or similar qualification is desirable
  • Recognised degree or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong administrative, organisational and IT skills, along with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative and work proactively with a high degree of professionalism
  • Relevant company secretarial experience within a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of governance best practices, relevant issues, statutory requirements and regulations and new trends in the industry
  • Excellent minutetaking ability
