Come join the ride and work for Swapfiets As a Bike Mechanic, you are the indispensable link within the coolest team in our operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Repairs, checks, cleans (E)Bikes following the Swapfiets standards, on its own with no supervision needed;
- Handling special case (E)Bikes
- Ensures the (E)Bikes product and repair data is properly captured and up to date in repair database;
- Delivers on the Swapfiets quality promise following the standard operating procedures and the quality controls and audits;
- Keeps the workstation clean
- Follows process for inventory management of (E)Bikes and parts to keep healthy data up to date;
- Organizing broken inflow and preorganizing (Triage);
Your optimal gear for the ride:
- You are available full-time (37.5 hours)
- You have affinity with bikes and service
- You are able to work independently but also enjoy working together with other mechanics
- You speak English fluently
- Preferably, you have at least 1 year of relevant working experience as a bike mechanic.
