Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ground worker to join our team.
As a Ground worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support construction and maintenance projects.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of construction sites
- Dig trenches, lay pipes, and install drainage systems
- Operate machinery such as excavators, compactors, and jackhammers
- Mix and pour concrete for foundations or other structures
- Install and repair fences, walkways, and other outdoor structures
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent handeye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Pay:
£13.61-£21.37 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
