The Company:

This retail giant is a household name and continues to ever develop there data capability, they operate across the globe and have a large amount of data to get hold of.

They also have a lot of plans to further develop their capability and bring in more complex and advanced tools such as DataBricks and Python.

The Role:

This role will involve budgeting and forecasting for highlevel sales, as well as sale event planning to determine the customer offer to ensure lead times are achieved.
You will be involved with seasonal forecasts across all sites and operations, to deliver small, medium, and longterm forecasts.
You will be responsible for reporting on daily and weekly warehouse volumes.
You will be building models in excel and be required to recognise key trends in the volume and align them to key events.

Skills and experience

This role will require great Excel knowledge
And a keen grasp of SQL, as well as a knowledge of PowerBI would be great, with the possibility of championing this for the rest of the team.
Excellent presenting and communication skills will be looked for as this role will be sharing insight with wider stakeholders.

This role will offer lots of exposure to wider stakeholders and further teams around the business.
