Data Engineer - Education Industry - London - £65,000

I am looking for an experienced
Data Engineer to join a
renowned Education organisation based in
London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a large team and drive significant change in data infrastructure and data science capabilities.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure of the organisation. You will need to be confident in creating and deploying data pipelines, data cleaning, and data sources. You will also be a key contributorto the development of data-driven projects, such as machine learning and analytics.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Demonstrable experience in developing data pipelines, data cleaning, data sources and data modelling
Experience working with, analysing and optimising a range of different data stores, including MySQL, SQL Server, Aurora and BigQuery
Good understanding of ETL processes and experience in designing and developing ETL processes
Experience in developing and deploying machine learning and analytics models
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure and GCP
Solid Experience developing reports and insights using visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Looker or Tableau
A degree in a related field
