Key Skills
Project Skillsets & Competencies: 80% of Role
- Be an active part of the Project team
contributing to design and planning, status reports and RAID management - The design and implementation of activates that deliver functionality across the following data related areas:
- Database Operations
- Process & Procedures
- Database Security
- Backup and Disaster Recovery
- DevOps
- FinOps
- Contribute to the
design and evolution of the wider data environment and the creation of the blueprint for Cloud Database Administration. - Lead activities in the areas of
database design, build and optimization, including Cloud storage design. - The
creation of new data stores to house data in the target Cloud based environment. - The
migration of data from current On Prem data stores to the target Cloud based data environment. - Support
large data set manipulation activities, such data wrangling, munging, joining etc., to support migration activities.
Work closely with, and support, members of the wider project and developer community on data related Project activities - eg advising on SQL code optimizations and database design.

Create documentation and artefacts that support the DBA role in the Project
BAU Skillsets & Competencies: 20% of Role:
- Establishing and delivering standard DBA services
- Monitoring, Access and Security controls, Back ups, Capacity Planning
- As they pertain to serverless Cloud environments
- Cloud cost management
- FinOps
- Contribute to the evolving DevOps process and procedures
- Integrate with, and become part of, the Technology Support Model and team
Experience should include use of technology platforms that support the above data centric skillsets.

Technology Mgmt
:
- DBA Tools, SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS), Database Migration Assistance (DMA)
- Strong SQL skills in support of data wrangling activities

- Analytical Skills: Ability to
navigate complex datasets, using proven frameworks and processes - Self-Starter: Ability to
