Growers Garden are an extruded snack manufacturer based in Cupar, Fife. We are recruiting for two positions within our established teams following recent growth.

The role
:
Production Operative - available for immediate start

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work on a variety of stations within the production facility, both inline positions and independently.
Carry out and record all quality checks at specified intervals, escalating any nonconformances to the shift lead.
Preparing and weighing ingredients.
Take responsibility and ownership for the area that you are working on, including good housekeeping and hygiene.
Preparing finished goods for distribution or storage.
Ability to work on your own and in a small team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in food manufacturing is desireable but not essential.
All basic training will be provided but good numeric and computer skills are desireable.
Self motivated and uses initiative, a strong team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach.
Ability to work well within a team environment with good communication skills
Forklift licence desireable but not essential.

Shifts / Hours:

Average 40hrs per week.
Mon to Fri (either 6am to 6pm, or 6pm to 6am)
Shifts follow a three week rotation on a 3, 3 4 basis.

Rate of pay:
Starting at £10.50hr. Overtime regularly available at an enhanced rate

Holidays: 30 per year (pro-rata) inclusive of bank holidays.
