- Experience working or delivering services in Muslim communities in a professional capacity (voluntary or employed).
- Experience in delivering coaching, counseling, therapeutic or practical support services.
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience re: socioemotional and psychological wellbeing; healthy relationships/marriages; effective communication/active listening skills.
- Indepth understanding and education in Islamic principles, rights, responsibilities of men and women, marriage, sex, romance, and relationships, according to Qur'an and Sunnah.
