We are looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to support the Manager to provide excellent service in all aspects of delivery in respect to the Hospitality and Events catering operation.
***
As Senior Event Coordinator, you will support the manager to lead the team and use your detail driven mindset to develop the hospitality, restaurant, and event business through efficient electronic and verbal communication with customers and the operational team.
***
You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, and work alongside the operational team to ensure the client's needs are anticipated, and that we deliver above and beyond.
***
You will be comfortable with tech, and know your way around a PC, and have a genuine interest in the hospitality and events industry.
***
Key Responsibilities
***-
Supervise the work of colleagues and junior members of the team*:

  • Compile finance summaries and reports, on time*:

  • Manage colleague and customer feedback, including complaints, and ensure that a positive outcome is achieved*:

Support the craft and leadership team with menu / allergen reviews and sign offs*:


  • Be present and act as a point of contact for key events to liaise between the guest and the operational team*:
-
Know the offer inside out, and be able to make informed recommendations to our clients*:


  • Provide and support a clear line of communication between all team members, both FOH and BOH*:

Respond in a timely manner to all hospitality, event, and dining enquiries*:


  • Manage restaurant and private dining bookings and ensure there are no double bookings

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Exceptional organisational skills to manage a large workload, supporting multiple outlets and buildings*:

  • Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet and exceed the expectations of our client*:

  • Must be highly proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge and Chrome*:

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills*:


  • Experience in a similar supervisory role
