Rapid Metals Ltd is a multi-metal stockist supplying both trade and public across the UK.


We are looking for someone hard working and reliable to join our team working in a fast paced, busy environment.

You will need to have excellent customer service skills, be organised, efficient and reliable. Other key attributes would include basic computer knowledge, and an ability to work well as part of a team. This is a varied role and you will be working in multiple departments within the business. Full training will be provided.

Warehouse duties include:

stock management, lifting and carrying, cutting metal to order, using horizontal band saws (and other saws), accepting deliveries, packing orders, organising couriers, serving customers, warehouse housekeeping and forklift driving.


This job role may also involve delivery driving when necessary, so a full UK driving licence is required, with duties including: Collections from suppliers, delivering to customers, keeping the company van in good condition and dealing with the general public.

Salary:
From £21,000.00 per year
