Joining Landform Surveys will give you the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors in the built environment, delivering a range of different surveys using the most modern survey instrumentation.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to come and join our team in Gateshead. We are offering a competitive basic salary depending on skills and experience.

Main Responsibilities

You will have the exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of measured building surveying projects using the latest technology such as total stations, GPS and 3D scanners.

Your responsibilities will include completing a full measured building surveys with floor plans, elevations and sections, using a combination of traditional methods and 3D scanners to a high standard, demonstrate a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and supervising trainee surveyors and provide training to staff when required.


  • Previous experience working as a Measured Building Surveyor
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Competent using surveying equipment including total stations, GPS and 3D scanners
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Confident and clear communicator both written and verbal
  • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional manner with excellent client facing skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
