About the Department


Finance support team positively and proactively manage data quality within the practice management systems, taking every opportunity to enhance its worth for consumers.


Operating to a strict service level agreement, KPIs and supporting other finance function team members must be agile and adaptable as they will perform a range of tasks determined by the volume and type of work being handled.


Overall job purpose


The framework acts as a description although responsibilities will be agile by nature, and will evolve as the role matures.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely support for Partners, staff, and finance colleagues
  • Administration of the firms Practice management system(s)
  • Routine data control and integrity projects in conjunction with the business leaders
  • Processing/raising bills, chasing outstanding actions
  • Supporting the preparation of the month end
  • Posting & allocating cash and associated reconciliations
  • Banking and processing cheques
  • Liaising with internal and external clients regarding outstanding invoices
  • Collaborating with colleagues to innovate, plan, and work to execute delivery of projects that enhance value
  • Support the standardisation Finance processes, controls and procedures across the organisation
  • Produce and maintain user documentation and contribute to user training programmes

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assist in numerous tasks simultaneously whilst management delivery deadlines
  • Good IT skill set
