Our cutting-edge technology and advanced analytics provide valuable insights for various industries, including defence & intelligence, climate & environment, industrial monitoring, supply chain analysis, NetZero initiatives, financial markets, ESG, and insurance.

Following the recent launch of our groundbreaking first satellite (HOTSAT-1) and the successful close of our highly anticipated A2 funding round, SatVu is actively seeking an exceptional and visionary Head of Product.


SatVu is looking for an individual who possesses an unwavering ambition and unique capabilities to spearhead and elevate our Product Management function as we embark on an exciting journey of rapid expansion and growth.

As a critical member of our leadership team, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), the Head of Product will drive all aspects of Product Management activities at SatVu.

As our company continues to grow exponentially, the Head of Product must possess the capacity to transition seamlessly from an initial hands-on role to that of a visionary leader, capable of building and nurturing a high-performing product team of product managers and designers.


Responsibilities under your direction will span key functions of Product Management, including:

Product Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies aligned with the company's vision, goals, and technical capabilities.
  • Define tactical and strategic roadmaps for product portfolios, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Lead the product specification process, ensuring clear and detailed requirements for successful product development.
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market analysis, cost considerations, and value proposition.
  • Conduct customer segmentation to identify target markets and tailor product offerings accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to establish and nurture partner channels to enhance product reach and create strategic alliances.

Product Ownership:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product vision and requirements into actionable plans.
  • Participate in the Agile Development process, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
  • Create and maintain epics and user stories to effectively communicate product features, enhancements, and user needs.
"Go To Market" Activities:


  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to align product strategies with revenue objectives.
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target customers.
  • Create sales toolkits, including product presentations, case studies, demos/vignettes, and competitive analysis, to support sales teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product marketing collateral, including brochures, white papers, and website content.
  • Conduct briefings and product demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of our products.

Product Management Methodology:

  • Develop and implement product management methodologies, processes, and best practices that scale with SatVu's growth
  • Drive the adoption of agile practices, such as iterative development, user feedback loops, and datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Embrace Lean Startup principles, including the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept, customer intimacy, validated learning, innovation accounting, and the buildmeasurelearn approach.
  • Demonstrate understanding of key concepts from the Pragmatic Framework, such as market research, product planning, product specification, pricing & packaging, launch & marketing, sales enablement, and market feedback and iteration.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of products, regularly analyse product performance, and make datadriven recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead a highperforming product team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and drive excellence in product management practices
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and customercentricity within the product management team.

Desirable Domain Expertise:


  • Develop the Product team's knowledge and expertise in satellite remote sensing, earth observation, geospatial analytics, thermal analysis, and related fields.
  • Understand and leverage various imagery products, such as thermal or multispectral imagery, for different use cases.
