12 Month FTC

Up to £38,000 + Pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working

Key responsibilities


Responsible for the production and distribution of merchandise store plans, in line with the Property Programme and against agreed milestones.

Ensures plans reflect the latest format blueprints including fixtures, VM merchandising principles and Range and Space recommendations. Effective communication with key stakeholders across the business on all issues relating to the delivery of merchandise store plans.

  • Deliver high CAD standards to the agreed ways of working and proactively QA the team's output.
  • Understand the AutoCAD and Smart Space interface and adhere to standards as advised by database owner.
  • Produce merchandise plans and, where agreed, supporting visualisations.
  • Provide CAD support to other business users on tactical requests.
  • Ensure that dimensional representations are drawn accurately and that floor dimensions are operationally sound and conform to health and safety requirements.
  • Own the sign off process for feedback and approval, including supporting materials.
  • Visit stores pre and post implementation, attend site and project meetings, as required.
  • Maintain detailed audit trail of all plan changes post signoff.
  • Provide progress updates on allocated workload to the Lead Store Planner including updating achieved milestones.
  • Create and maintain mapping document within agreed timescales. Manage mapping update log post detailed plan distribution.
  • Provide training for new starters and team development as required.
  • Own personal development, actively participate in 121's, appraisals, and team activities.

Required skills & experience

  • Experience using an AutoCAD based system.
  • Experience of Autodesk Revit software preferred.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can understand and analyse data, concepts, and complex issues quickly and is a creative decision maker.
  • Attention to detail has a good eye for detail, ensuring that errors and omissions are identified, and quality is maintained.
  • Ability to work in a methodical manner, with a structured and disciplined working style.
  • Plans and prioritises own time/workload to achieve targets.
  • Anticipates when deadlines are unlikely to be met and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Team worker with ability to work on own initiative for project work.
  • Desire to develop skills and experience for future leadership opportunities.
