Boxtree are currently working with a well-established insurance broker with the appointment of a Senior Claims Handler to join their technical claims team.

You will be joining a driven department and will be hands on with the team, assisting with the reviewand collection of claims.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert knowledge to the team, using KPI's to ensure quality and speed is of highest importance
Ensure that you always follow the firm's systems and procedures, in accordance with the firm's procedures manual
Support the team to respond promptly to claims queries and ensure that all communications with clients and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing) in a timely manner
Liaise with colleagues, clients, and insurers on claims
Provide guidance to the team when dealing with complex claims and queries
Ensure the company systems are always kept up to date by the claims department
Help provide Work In progress lists for the team ensuring KPI's are met
Assist with developing new programmes using technical knowledge

Required:

Minimum of 5 years' experience within the insurance market
Good understanding of both open market and facility claims
Knowledge of ECF and DDM
Knowledge of BinderCloud system
