They're an award-winning, government-backed not-for-profit organisation about to kick off a major digital transformation journey with a primary focus on becoming more data-led.
As they strive to make a difference in society, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer to join their talented team.
_As an integral member of their team, you will:_
- Leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory to create efficient and scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources.
- Work closely with various teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective ETL processes, fostering a collaborative and integrated approach to data management.
- Adhere to best practices in data warehousing and data management, ensuring the seamless flow of highquality data throughout the organisation.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality through meticulous data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Proactively manage and optimise data pipelines to ensure optimal throughput and mínimal latency, contributing to the overall efficiency of their data ecosystem.
- Address data pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks with precision, utilising your problemsolving skills to maintain the integrity of their data processes.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in Azure Data Factory and ETL technologies, driving continuous improvement in their data infrastructure.
_To thrive in this role, you'll need:_
- Proven track record in designing and implementing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
- A solid foundation in fundamental data management principles
- Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks.
- An understanding of ETL best practices.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, or PowerShell to enhance and optimize data processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues with precision.
- Effectively collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Azure certifications, such as
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate.
