Schallenberg International Limited are a solely owned, leading Freight Forwarding, Warehousing & Logistics Company, located in Felixstowe.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join our current Warehouse & Transport Operations team within a fast paced environment


Key Responsibilities

• Book in, manifest and arrange Transport & Warehousing jobs received from customers
• Check and update Vessel arrival times, Container landing times, unpacking/delivery schedules
• Ensure all cargo is Customs Cleared and released in time
• Add costs, charges, and send out Invoices
• Assist colleagues on other departments with any tasks should it be required

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate internally and externally with customers and suppliers
• High standard of computer literacy including Microsoft packages (Excel and Word)
• Experience of working within an office environment
• Understanding of warehousing and supply chain
• Excellent time management skills
• Be adaptable, driven and proactive
• Experience with Port Systems (Destin8 & CNS)
• Transport Operations Experience (ideally at least 1 year)
• Full UK driving licence
