We are seeking motivated individuals for the following positions:

Carriageway Patching Gangs

As a patching operative, you will work within a 2-man gang repairing potholes following a programme of works set by the patching supervisor.

Predominantly night works. We are seeking gangers and labourers for this role.

We would be open to negotiate with operatives that come together as a full gang, whether that's paid as a gang or individually


Key Responsibilities (Ganger):

• Drive 7.5t lorry
• Collect tarmac & tow roller
• Repair potholes (saw cut, break out, tarmac and overband)
• Carry out shift briefing to operatives and TM crew
• Record works on iPad

Job Requirements (Ganger):

• Valid CSCS Card Required
• SWQR Qualification Required
• UK Driving Licence Required
• Category C1 (7.5t Licence)
• Highway Maintenance / Street Works Experience Required
• Emergency First Aid Training Desirable
• Cat and Genny Training Desirable

Key Responsibilities (Labourer):

• Assist in repairing potholes (saw cut, break out, tarmac and overband)

• Highway Maintenance / Street Works Experience Required
• Emergency First Aid Training Desirable
• Cat and Genny Training Desirable

Job Types:
Full-time, Freelance


Salary:
£140.00-£190.00 per day


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Basildon, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Highway Maintenance: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Driving Licence (preferred)

In person
