The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable and flexible individual to join Jack and Jill's Childcare as a Level 5 Lead Practitioner Childcare Apprentice.

This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to progress in their childcare career with this great opportunity to work towards a Level 5 qualification and train to become a Deputy Manger within a friendly and welcoming setting.

Jack and Jill's Childcare is situated within the Military residential area of Plymstock.

They are in a purpose built setting with a vast flat garden area which provides many learning and teaching opportunities for the children.

If your child loves the outdoors then they will love coming to our setting, experiencing 3 gardens and a playground great for riding bikes, scooters and construction activities, not to mention an area set aside for climbing Using money fund raised by staff, parents and children we recently installed a climbing tower to add to our slides, balance beams and wobbly bridge_

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

Maintaining ratio
Responsible for the manager's position and tasks in her absence
Responsible for health and safety
Building control
Record keeping
Observations
Liaising with Parents
Working with the staff team
Working closely with the manager
Supporting with SEN
Supporting with working with babies
Keyworker to a group of children

Hours;

For this position, there will be a minimum of hours per week with shifts between the setting's opening hours of 08:00-17:00.

Shift patterns will be flexible.

Requirements;

GCSE C/4+ in English and Maths/or Functional skill level 2 equivalent
Level 3 Childcare qualification
Must be able to obtain a clear DBS
