Workshop joiner/ cabinet maker required to manufacture furniture for a local firm in Bury. The role will require extensive experience in the use of woodworking machinery, assembly and finishing.


Joiner / Cabinet Maker - Requirements

• Experienced in of production of highquality bench hand joinery/cabinet making, including work with laminates, using an edgebander, pocket machines, table saw and power tools;
• Has experience of working in and maintaining a safe working environment;
• Is enthusiastic, honest, and respectful with a supportive attitude;
• Able to work independently to drawings, and equally effectively work in cooperation with colleagues;
• Work well under pressure and able to perform calmly to short deadlines and maintain attention to detail;
• Willing to work in other areas of the business when required or capacity requires

Joiner / Cabinet Maker - Responsibilities

• Work with Workshop Manager and other colleagues to understand job priorities, orders and specifications and work as part of the team for maximum efficiency and produce high quality products;
• Health and Safety ensure that you, your colleagues, and the work environment conform with Health and Safety Regulations and rules.
• Support Workshop Manager as required.

Wage negotiable depending upon experience.


Salary:
£15,000.00-£18,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
