Oneworld Travel Wakefield has just entered its 21st year of operation, and there has never been a more exciting time to join We are an independent, high street retail business and have stores located across Yorkshire.

We are looking to hire a hard-working and proactive admin assistant to provide support for our Wakefield office operations.

  • 1+ years of experience in a busy office environment, used to working under pressure and to deadline
  • Strong organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to juggle tasks
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch and rectify mistakes
  • IT skills, including working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office range and other software
  • Previous experience in a travel environment would be advantageous but not essential
  • Customer focused

What you will do:


  • Ticket flights, accommodation and other travel
  • Serve customers and assist colleagues
  • General admin duties, such as typing, copying, and scanning
  • Liaise with suppliers (e.g., airlines, accommodation providers)
  • Brochure stocking and inventory
  • Meeting organisation and minuting
  • Maintain physical and virtual filing systems
  • Create content for travel deals, social media and newsletters
  • Any other duties as required and commensurate to the post

How we work:


  • Travel between three Yorkshire branches is occasionally required.
  • The Wakefield branch is open seven days a week. Each fulltime staff member works 39.5 hours over five of the seven days each week.
