Celtic Horizons delivers estate services for United Welsh, including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance.

Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group.

Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.


About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced
Working Foreman, to join our rapidly expanding team to work, within a busy environment to act as leader and focal point in respective teams and ensure completion of works.

You'll supervise a team of grounds operatives conducting a variety of grounds maintenance tasks.

Ensure that all risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work are adhered to, congruent to the activity undertaken.

All machinery and equipment used is in safe working order.


Role Criteria:


  • Supervision of all grounds maintenance, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability and satisfaction through effective resource utilisation & planning.
  • Supervise and maintain all grounds maintenance including grass and hedge cutting
  • Act as liaison point on site for Branch Management and client and develop a strong working relationship with all scheme managers and housing officers.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation between site team members.
