Description
To assist the Electrical Contracts Managers in the management of the Project Delivery.
To provide strong technical knowledge to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with the client's requirements, project specifications and drawings to the highest possible standards and within budget.
- To assist the Electrical Contracts Managers to monitor and successfully deliver Electrical Projects for our clients.
- To assist in the production of technical submissions to achieve signoff from the client team prior to works commencing on site.
- To ensure all works are carried out to a high standard ensuring all RAMS and site safety plans are project specific and adhered to.
- To procure and order key materials and be confident dealing with suppliers in order to ensure goods and services are purchased at competitive prices.
- To be able to interpret electrical drawings and specifications to provide support to the Estimating Team.
- To have good working relationships with our clients and ensure that all works are completed in a professional and controlled manner.
- To ensure Electrical Contracts Managers are kept up to date with technical and progress meetings.
- To provide support for labour resources, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- To ensure all engineers are up to date with all current regulations and training, updating the Electrical Contracts Manager if this is not.
- To monitor contract change instructions/variations.
- To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with our written policies and good practice.
- To assist with the production of operation and maintenance manuals prior to handover of projects.
- Have a basic understanding of construction health and safety policies and be able to produce basic risk and method statements in accordance with H&S guidelines
- To ensure drawings and filing systems are in place to ensure smooth delivery between pre contracts and the operations team.
