Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Team Leader with experience in the Grounds Maintenance industry and a keen eye for gardening.

You must have a can do attitude and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, with an eye for what needs to be done.

Must have experience in team management and Grounds Maintenance/gardening. A PA 1 and PA 6 Spray Licence is preferable but this is not essential. Must have experience in the operation of gardening machinery, including ride-on work.

As majority of our work is on sites that require a DBS you will be required to have a DBS check provided by PJR.

Driving licence essential as you will be required to drive vans. A good knowledge of plants and shrubs also required. Must have had experience in managing a team.

This is an all year round, all weather job which involves all aspects of gardening.

Main duties include:

Managing a small team, with a view of managing multiple teams in the future
Communicating with customers
Lawn mowing
Hedge cutting
Bed maintenance and weed clearing
Leaf clearing
Strimming
Snow clearing

We work out of Rayleigh and you would need to be able to get to Rayleigh at the start of the work day.

We service only Essex and are proud to be a local company.

Staff are supplied with staff uniform, free on site parking and PPE.

All staff are provided with a private health plan.

Regular training opportunities provided.
