Job Title:
Cover Supervisor


Duties:


  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers
  • Deliver preprepared lessons and ensure students stay on task
  • Provide mentoring and tutoring support to students as needed
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage student behavior and enforce school policies
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
  • Support students with special needs, including those with autism
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
  • Knowledge of creative writing techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with strategies for supporting students with autism is desirable
