Audit & Accounts Senior Job Vacancy - 100% Remote
We're on the lookout for a talented Audit & Accounts Senior to work for a thriving, regional firm of accountants based in the Northwest of England on a remote basis (with infrequent trips to the office spread over the year.)

This Audit & Accounts Senior Job on a remote basis will suit an accountant who has been working at Semi Senior or Senior level with audit experience or just an interest in developing audit experience, who feel it's time their career progressed.

We are lookingfor a great all-rounder who can hit the ground running with a range of accounting needs for a diverse range of clients and with some training, contribute to supporting a small number of audits.

Job Purpose

Completion of statutory and management accounts for a diverse range of clients within the portfolio.
Assist with the management of audits from planning to completion (training can be provided.)
All associated general accounting associated tasks from a review perspective (bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll and producing reports.)
Supervise junior staff and support with their learning and development.
Delegate with confidence.
Nurture excellent client relationships.
Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and support with company growth.
Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.

The Successful Applicant

ACA, ACCA or CA qualified, or qualified by experience, with experience within practice
Experience or an interest in working as part of an audit team
Selfmotivated and reliable and eager to progress
Technically efficient
A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
Initiative and commercial acumen

This Audit & Accounts Senior is on offer on a fully remote basis except for approximately 10-12 days a year in the office which is based near Manchester.
