Description
Responsible for Hands on Co-ordination of the Goods in and Distribution Departments, Maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the departments.


Key objectives

  • To Always, conduct yourself in a manner befitting of the company and show this to all Personnel.
  • Responsiblefor the supervision of the Warehouse staff including planning and allocating of general activities to the team.
  • Coordination of the Goods In Department. Ensuring all goods are quality checked coming in from the supplier and Filling in Non-Conformance reports as required, Liaising with management with any NC's.
  • Managing time in the Dept. to ensure all booked in Goods are put away by the end of shift.
  • Scheduling and recording deliveries Via MS Teams.
  • Liaising with Line Manager regarding daily workload.
  • Organise the loading of/Load any collection vehicles.
  • Creating the daily jobs planner at the end of each shift for the following shift.
  • Daily checks to ensure MHE Pre-Shift checks have taken place.
  • To Supply Management with a Monthly update on Consumables required.
  • To maintain staff moral within the department.
  • Ensure that all staff are following/adhering to all work Processes & Procedures.
  • Ensure all staff are Adhering to the company Health and Safety policies.
  • To demonstrate and promote the upkeep of a tidy Department.
  • To demonstrate and promote the company ethos within your department.

Reporting

  • Ensuring that the quality, volume, and accuracy of the work meets the required standard via use of key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Retrieval and use of information via inhouse Warehouse Management computer system.
  • Cover for Operational staff in their absence where needed.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested or assigned
  • Adhere to all company policy and procedures.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Experienced in leading and motivating a team of people; utilising appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives, and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction.
  • Computer literacy including a good level of understanding of warehouse Management IT systems.
  • Effective communication at all levels.
  • The ability to effectively prioritise workload in a timely manner
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Team player
  • Good basic IT skills, including MS Office and CRM
  • Ideally, fluency in English at least as a second language
  • Well organised with good written and verbal communication
  • Good Timekeeping.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • To be able to teach/coach departmental workers to cover in your absence
