  • 22Nov2023Our client is a highly successful food manufacturing company in Milton Keynes.


Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a
Quality Assurance Auditor to work on a days shift which is 4 on, 4 off.

The hours are 05:40-18:00.


The Quality Assurance Auditor is a permanently factory-based role, which will require certain level of flexibility regarding working hours based on business requirement.

To assist the EAD Senior QA Manager with the technical function within the manufacturing site ensuring all materials including finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements.

To take a responsibility for helping to maintain Food Safety and Quality Standard for the site.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • To monitor the necessary HACCP & prerequisite checks to ensure that they are being carried out to meet legal, quality and safety standards. Where noncompliance is identified, work with the operations team to address these instances.
  • Identify nonconformances to technical standards, reporting them promptly to ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner. Use the NCR management process to support the investigation and closure of any incidents.
  • Completion of complaints investigation work when required, advising line manager on any corrective actions.
  • To manage and complete sampling/swabbing and sending and logging of external laboratory testing.
  • To liaise with production, hygiene and engineering colleagues on a shiftbyshift basis to ensure technical issues and nonconformances are properly identified, well investigated and that the necessary actions are undertaken to close out each incident.
  • To ensure that all required audits are completed to the specified frequency as directed

Audits:

CCP, GMP, Glass & Plastic, Fabrication, Process, Red Flag, Black Bag, Micro Investigation Audit and other audits as directed.


  • To make sure all process related documentation is completed and compliant (to include production records & internal audits) before being filed away.

The successful Quality Assurance Auditor will- Preferably have worked in a food manufacturing environment - regardless, training will be provided.


  • HACCP and/or Food safety level 3 certificate, preferable but not essential
  • Must have GCSE / NVQ / Equivalent
  • English and Maths
  • Excellent Time Management and work prioritisation
  • Great communication skills
  • Positive attitude and Selfmotivated
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and demands
  • Interest in food and in developing a Quality Assurance career
