The client - Housing Association - Repairs Surveyor:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Repairs Surveyor for a housing association based in Cheshire and Merseyside, on an initial two-to-three month basis.

The role - Housing Association - Repairs Surveyor:

Conducting responsive repairs inspections and producing specification of works.
To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality asset management services.
To effectively, plan and deliver a surveying service to the stock portfolio.
To undertake preinspections of responsive repairs and major works
To provide property survey information as required to the and actively update the asset management system.
To ensure value for money is delivered through all projects.
Project management and contractor management for major works.

The person - Housing Association - Repairs Surveyor:

Social housing repair and maintenance experience
Relevant experience in the use of the NHF Schedule of Rates
Substantive understanding of asset management legislation relating to the post.
Experience in a similar role in a Housing Association or Local Authority.
Previous experience of provision of maintenance and investment related surveying services.
Proven experience of onsite maintenance and investment cost management.
