Salary:
£26-£28k DOE
Due to a realignment of Garage Management and a growing need for regionalised recruitment, several roles have arisen for a Recruitment Coordinator.
The main purpose of this role is the coordination and administration of high-volume Bus Driver recruitment for the business. The areas we currently have available are; Edgware, Westbourne Park and Stamford Brook (Chiswick).
DIMENSIONS:
The Recruitment Coordinator works closely with the Recruitment Officer and the other Recruitment Team members to coordinate Bus Driver recruitment activities for the business.
- Booking and invigilating DVLA theory tests
- Production of employment contracts and safe filing in line with GDPR of all employee details
- Covering for the Recruitment Officer as and when required
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Organising daily workloads and managing the medical and theory diaries.
- Ensuring compliance with company and legislative standards/requirements.
- Deputising for the Recruitment Officer
- Responsibility for completing and distributing weekly reports.
- Responsibility for managing ad hoc projects.
- Organising and running open days and recruitment fairs.
- Ensuring an understanding of and compliance with Company procedures for Health & Safety, specifically reporting accidents and any defective equipment.
The Recruitment Coordinator will also liaise regularly with the Training Manager/Training Coordinator/Driving Instructors and HR Administration in organising training and induction for new employees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience of working in a high volume coordination/recruitment role environment.
- Forward thinking approach, with ability to challenge accepted practices.
- Experience of dealing with people both face to face and over the phone
- Experience in an administrative environment.
- Strong PC Skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Flexibility in working hours.
