Title and Summary

Trainee Computer Operator

Overview

Monitors the Mastercard networking environments to ensure a consistently high level of service at all times to meet established SLA's
Troubleshoots and resolves issues

Roles

Monitors service levels for data and voice remove this replace with the following ( mastercard global infrustrature) networking equipment and software
Clarifies common customer problems and provides resolution for simple system failures or degradations according to standard protocols
Performs standard testing and analysis of all elements of the network and data center facilities
Monitors and takes corrective actions for problems as they arise to minimizing customer impact
Creates and/or updates internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery steps
Provides guidance to less experienced team members on defined procedures and may supervise/coordinate work of support individual contributors

Experiences

Demonstrates indepth understanding of procedures and protocols, clarifying customer problems and resolving system failures according to protocols
Experience monitoring and taking corrective action for routine to moderately complex problems
Experience creating and updating internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery steps
Experience performing standard testing and analysis of network and data center facilities
