CNC Vertical Borer

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate CNC Vertical borers with a focus on Fanuc Controls.
Ability to write new programs based on technical drawings and edit existing programs.
Utilize canned cycles on Fanuc control to ensure efficient and precise machining.
Demonstrate expertise in modern tooling and methods, adapting to various machining requirements.
Work with minimum supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Qualifications and Experience:

Apprentice trained or fully skilled in CNC machining.
Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Vertical borers with over 2.5meter swing and components up to 10 tonnes.
Proficiency with Fanuc Controls, including the use of canned cycles.
Capability to write new programs and edit existing ones from technical drawings.
Familiarity with modern tooling and machining methods.
Experience in Centre Lathe Turning (DSG machines), including screw cutting, taper turning, and use of 4 jaw chucks and copy turning attachments, will be advantageous.
