Description

We are looking for an engaging and caring Behaviour Mentor to work with small groups of Key stage 2 students who are no longer in mainstream education.

These children have a range of additional needs including, SEMH, Autism and MLD, and require additionalclassroom support. As a behaviour Mentor you will be supporting on a 1-2-1 or small group basis, providing additional classroom support.

A large part of this role is being a positive role model for children who have faced social and emotional barriers.

Weare looking for a positive individual who is empathetic, patient and caring to work with children who needs a little extra care and attention.

Job Role:

Providing 121 or small group support throughout Key Stage
Leading fun activities for children, including taking children offsite for activities
Working closely with teaching staff to ensure that every child has the appropriate support
Being part of a passionate pastoral team who love what they do
Acting as a positive role model and breaking down barriers to communication
Inspiring students
Managing classroom behaviours and supporting the teacher
