Description

We are looking for an engaging and caring Behaviour Mentor to work with small groups of Key stage 2 students who are no longer in mainstream education.

These children have a range of additional needs including, SEMH, Autism and MLD, and require additionalclassroom support. As a behaviour Mentor you will be supporting on a 1-2-1 or small group basis, providing additional classroom support.

A large part of this role is being a positive role model for children who have faced social and emotional barriers.

Weare looking for a positive individual who is empathetic, patient and caring to work with children who needs a little extra care and attention.


Job Role:

  • Providing 121 or small group support throughout Key Stage
  • Leading fun activities for children, including taking children offsite for activities
  • Working closely with teaching staff to ensure that every child has the appropriate support
  • Being part of a passionate pastoral team who love what they do
  • Acting as a positive role model and breaking down barriers to communication
  • Inspiring students
  • Managing classroom behaviours and supporting the teacher
