All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards.

We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our St Albans Distribution Centre.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Your responsibilities will include restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and timely replenishment.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.


You will be responsible for receiving deliveries from supplying depots, validating journey temperatures in line with Good Distribution Practice and checking orders in using an Asset tracking device.

You must ensure safe sortation of deliveries received into allocated van routes in a timely manner ensuring Customer orders are ready for dispatch.


In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.


Salary
£31,274.10 per Annum, with a base hourly rate of £10.67, a time-based supplement of an additional 25% per hour between 10pm and 6am, plus a regional supplement of £0.32p per hour, plus the London Living Allowance. This works out at around £14.85 per hour.


Working Pattern


Average of 40.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 11pm till 7am, and Sunday from 4pm till 10pm, with 1 in 2 Sundays from 4pm till 10pm.
