£65,000 - £70,000 + vehicle allowance + agile working

Location:
Cardiff/London

A national construction company with community sustainability at its core, is seeking a Project Planner to join its ambitious and supportive team culture.

The Project Planner will initially monitor and report on an existing programme for a current high-riseapartment block, with the view of building new programmes for envisaged builds in the near future.

As a Project Planner you will be predominantly located in Cardiff, with 1 or 2 days a week in London.

Responsibilities:

Be fully compliant with the company's safety, environmental, health, security, quality, and ethics standards
Liaise with necessary team members to ensure all elements of the project is planned and programmed accurately
Weekly and monthly monitoring, filing, and analysis of plan progress
Proactively liaise with executive level management to share schedule analysis for decision making consideration on the Programme schedule position
Undertaking other duties as reasonably required from time to time by Line and Task Managers
Be commercially minded there will be a focus on activities that will deliver real value for the projects

Essential experience:

A degree in an appropriate construction or technical discipline, and a proven level of experience
Knowledge and understanding of residential projects, fitout, and commissioning
Good experience in implementing bestpractice planning processes and tools (e.g. Asta and Microsoft Project) in a complex project environment
Knowledge of analysing critical path and schedule risk
