Pay rate.
Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has come available to be part of our organisation for our
DurhamGate Care Home. DurhamGate is a new purpose built luxury care home due to open in October 2023. Come and join us as we build the team for the first new care home in Durham in over fifteen years

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Care Manager. You will join the organisation at an exciting time of growth. Reporting to the General Manager and Director you will also be supported by a strong Operations Team.

You will be responsible for providing support and leadership to the staff team, creating a culture of resident focus and ensuring the quality of service.

To establishing and maintain relationships with residents, the staff team and key internal and external stakeholders.

To support the General Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home.


You will oversee / maintain the care of residents within the Care Home and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Home.

Provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance functions of the Care Home.

To maintain care and management skills and undertake such training and development as required.


To manage the services within the Care Home in accordance with standards agreed, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practice.

You will be passionate about delivering outstanding care to our residents in a dignified and safe manner. With proven ability to lead and motivate a team, you will be well organised and an exceptional communicator.


The focus of the role is to lead the team in promoting a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care and that individual needs are met.


Ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and that the residents right to privacy, independence and choice are upheld.

To supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to resident's.

To check that statutory requirements are met in line with the high levels expected within the care home.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
