WHAT TO EXPECT


Following on from the creation of the newly formed Manufacturing Sustainability team within Manufacturing Excellence function of Industrial Operation (IO), in January 2023, we are now in a position to grow the team and accelerate our decarbonisation execution roadmap across our global Manufacturing Operations.

This role will require Regular local and occasional international travel to Jaguar Land Rover's global manufacturing facilities will be required.

The role will have Gaydon as home location but fits within the Hybrid working model.

Our objective continues to be a clear focus on achieving our externally committed science-based targets (SBTi) 2030 and net zero 2039 milestones.

This role requires the individual to be highly autonomous, continually act with urgency, embrace cross functional working with interdependencies across all enterprise areas and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and integration of specific workstreams in our Sustainability Transformation as per the beacon projects approved by the management board.
  • Support workstream leads and cross functional teams on project deliverables and escalation routing.
  • Project / Programme management
  • Prioritise, align and track progress, of specific projects to achieve business goals in conjunction with budget and timing and adopt and embed agile project management methodology, policies & standards.
  • Report on project progress, risks, outputs, and delivery against KPIs across all management levels
  • Drive knowledge sharing in the cross functional sustainability network and key leadership stakeholders and work with Sustainability SMEs and central Strategy & Sustainability function to ensure data validity in project story & business case creation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential

  • Technical experience / knowledge of automotive manufacturing, circularity, energy consumption and emerging technology.
  • Experience of working in a large complex organisation in a cross functional, matrix management environment to ensure project and business objectives are achieved.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodology & tools.
  • Experience within one or more of the key workstreams (i.e., product creation, supply chain, manufacturing / operations, engineering, purchasing / supply chain).
