Clinic Receptionist - Northampton, United Kingdom - Northampton General Hospital
Description
Provide an efficient reception service to patients, relatives, carers, and all staff groups Greet patients who attend the Outpatient Answer all telephone queries and escalate to appropriate staff, where necessary Provide general administrative service on Reception and as required by the department, ensuring all paperwork is completed and inputted into the correct systems Preparation of clinic notes, adhering to current processes Use the relevant Trust databases and patient administration systems and ensure that all data is up to date Liaise with other areas of the Trust, as well as other Service Providers, GPs, etc.
Photocopying, posting documentation and general office duties Prioritise own workload and working independently within the Service needs Provide a comprehensive administration support service to the Clinical Team to enable them to carry out their duties in an effective and efficient manager and ensure efficiency in patient care Ensure confidentiality is maintained in all communications and that documents are other sensitive information are secure at all timesMore jobs from Northampton General Hospital
