This ambitious credit management and investment company is expanding it's value adding fund finance function as a result of exceptional growth and are looking to reach a total of $30bn AUMin the next - 5 years.

Joining a high performing team of Fund Accountants and reporting to an inpsiring Fund Finance Director, this role will have exposure to the following responsibilities:

Working day-to-day with 3rd party administrators (administration is fully outsourced) and developing a strong working relationship with your counterparts on the funds
Managing quarterly reporting timetables and ensuring delivery to deadline
Supporting the Quarterly Investor Performance Reporting across multiple funds
Supporting and reviewing the Quarterly Financial Statements
Supporting and reviewing NAV production prepared under Lux GAAP and IFRS
Monthly NAV estimate calculations
Supporting the Audited annual accounts process
Review of drawdown and distribution calculations
Review of management fee calculations
Preparation and review of waterfall/ carry calculations
Assist in reconciling: Positions, Principal of investments, Investment distributions & Fees generated from investments
Monitoring distributions received from investments and reconciling weekly
Daily interaction with administrators
Interactions with Investor Relations (UK & US) to complete DDQs and Ad hoc investor queries
Running valuation calculations for the investments for review and approval by the Fund Controllers
Updating cash flows and financial information on internal databases for shadow portfolio valuation and performance monitoring
Creating financial models to assist with fund and portfolio decision making
Cash, treasury support and FX Hedging support to Fund Controllers
Building and maintaining relationships with the Portfolio Management Team (UK & US) to understand amendments, waivers, changes to positions and terms
Liaising with Investment Team to obtain deal exit forecasts
Updating and running fund forecasting models
Verifying outputs to present to Fund Controller/Director and flexing scenarios as required
Helping implement a robust quarterly forecasting process

Experience required:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

- at least 12 months experience within an inhouse fund accounting role
- solid understanding of PE / credit / debt fund structures

Proactive and team orientated approach to work
Commercial mindset passion for improving and developing processes and desire to further career / upskill
IFRS experience and understanding of LUX gaap
Excel modelling skills advantageous
