    Job Title: Interim Management Accountant

    A 12 Month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for an experienced Interim Management Accountant to cover maternity leave has become available. This role offers a chance to join a dedicated and friendly team in a down-to-earth environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide accurate and timely financial information and analysis to management on a monthly basis.
    • Prepare and submit monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and VAT returns.
    • Maintain balance sheets through monthly reconciliation.
    • Ensure the company's financial data is accurately reflected in various ledgers and statements.
    • Conduct daily bank reconciliations, analyze, and post company credit card transactions.
    • Process intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

    Required Skills:

    • Financial Analysis: Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques to interpret financial data.
    • Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets and cash flow statements, in line with compliance and accounting standards.
    • Taxation: Good understanding of VAT regulations and laws, with the ability to prepare VAT returns.
    • Accounting Software: Proficient in using accounting software and other financial tools to manage financial information.
    • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively communicate and explain financial information.
    • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently to produce timely financial information.
