Plater:


£15 - £16.50 DOE

Hours of work:
Days: Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 4.00pm (
overtime available) Fridays 7-00am until 12-00pm. (7hrs)


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


The role has day to day tasks including:

  • Reviewing engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
  • Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
  • Achieve production timings in a timely manner and Interpreting customer requirements from engineering drawings, sketches, and written/verbal descriptions.
  • Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Company Handbook.
  • Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
  • Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
  • Communicating at all levels

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£15.00-£16.50 per hour

Experience:


  • MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
