Full-Time, flexible working during operational hours; Monday - Friday 8am-6pm


Salary:
£23,340 per annum


Here within Serco's Environmental Services we provide a complete waste, recycling, and street cleansing service on behalf of the residents and community of Norfolk.

With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team, our environmental staff ensure that our streets, homes, and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to the community that we serve.

Right now, we have an opportunity for a like-minded individual to join our team of essential workers as a Customer Care Executive who help us to make a positive difference to the environment, we all live in.


The role is primarily responsible for the customer service delivery, taking calls and queries from members of the public and taking payments on behalf of our client as well as administration tasks.


As part of this you'll:


  • Record and maintain customer correspondence and enquiries, reception duties, filling, note taking, casework and complaints within agreed services levels
  • Use your own initiative as well as follow established procedures, processes, legislation and systems to source information to provide a resolution for the customer


As part of the customer care centre team you will join us in a constant strive for continuous improvement and efficiency within the administration function by working collaboratively together and shadowing jobs to share roles and responsibilities.

We work within a multi-skilled environment ensuring adequate cover for duties and responsibilities are continued in the event of reduced resources.

What you'll need to do the role

First and foremost you will have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with customers, contractors, partners and stakeholders.

Maintaining high customer service standards whilst dealing with queries in a fast paced environment will be your passion and focus of yours.

Previous experience with customer service and/or call centre experience is desireable.
