Responsibilities
As a Environmental Advisor, you'll be working within the Devonport team and provide guidance and support to the project delivery teams on sustainable best practice and support delivery of the Kier Building for a Sustainable World Framework and key elements of Kier Infrastructure Sustainability Plan, Building Better.
Your day to day will include:
- Assisting the development of the project Environmental Management System
- Identify and support project teams to obtain and comply with Kier and client requirement
- Asist with collection of environmental data to help the project meet Kier and Client targets
- Look for, trial and implement sustainable innovations and produce case studies for the wider business
What do we need from you?
This role of Environmental Advisor is great for you if:
- You'll have demonstrable experience in sustainable best practice on construction projects
- You'll have demonstrable experience in data collection, management and presentation
- You'll have experience of liaison with project teams, client and external stakeholders
- You'll have knowledge and practical experience of finding and implementing innovative technologies to help drive carbon reduction. Note that experience in all areas is not required
