Based in Monmouth, Vertix Systems have over 30 years' experience in the standing seam roof industry.

Offering a personal service with extensive technical knowledge, the Vertix team are focused on providing high quality bespoke roofing systems, suitable for both the commercial and domestic market.


The Role


As a Team Leader, you will take an active role in supervising all day-to-day operations whilst working towards the timely and cost-effective production on site.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Lead the team to ensure that the highest standards of safety, service, housekeeping and hygiene are met
  • Ensure safe set up of machinery prior to production and all pre checks of the machine/process are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all finished goods are manufactured to agreed specifications
  • Completion of paperwork ensuring that it meets with current legislation requirements
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities with procedures, systems and work method
  • Ensure the team accurately interpret job sheets or production schedules
  • Ensure machine is well maintained, cleaned, and lubricated as required to maintain accurate product and highquality standards
  • Ensuring all safety and compliance procedures are adhered to

About you:


  • Previous production lead experience
  • Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach
  • Be able to manage and motivate the team, ensuring understanding of all requirements and roles
  • Actively drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Execellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Willing and open to learning new things
