We're looking for an ambitious and organised person to join our client, a long-established local company who are experts in logistics and credit hire vehicles. You'll receive full training to join our fast-paced team where no two days are truly thesame Great phone manner and organisational skills are a must, and a passion for cars and all thing motors would be ideal as you'll be overseeing a fleet of vehicles, ranging from a trusty hatchback to a beautiful Bentley Continental
About our client
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dynamic, fast-moving company within the credit hire industry who pride themselves not only on brilliant service to their customers but also maintaining an enviable place to work.
The company have been established for over 27 years and are currently going through a period of significant growth and, as a result of this, are looking to recruit Logistics Controllers to join the team.
With the right training, your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
- Working with the Customer Service Team to make sure a suitable vehicle is supplied to the customer and their damaged vehicle collected and moved into storage.
- Checking in with customers to ensure delivery and collection arrangements are made in the most efficient way for both them and the business.
- Work smartly with colleagues in the satellite hubs to make sure the fleet and delivery drivers are working smartly on their daily routes
- Carefully checking all documentation and vehicle condition reports returned to ensure processes have been followed correctly.
Salary:
Up to £23,000 depending on experience plus great benefits
Location:
You'll be based at the office in Uxbridge full-time - it's a sociable, friendly office who have regular social activities and a monthly McDonalds breakfast
Hours:
Mon-Fri hours 8am - 4:30pm & Including 1 Saturday 1 in every 3 (for 2 hours 9am to 11am, paid in overtime)

About you:
- A keen interest in cars and motor vehicles
- Good UK Geographical knowledge to our drivers navigate the best routes
- Confident and calm approach, and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
- Previous experience of delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong PC skills and ability to effectively maintain different systems, once trained.
- Have a 'can do' attitude and ability to think outside the box
- Be able to work under pressure and still maintain a high attention to detail with a calm approach.
- Show respect to all colleagues and clients at all times
- Demonstrate strong team working skills
