Main Duties and Responsibilities As part of the HR Business Team, provide support to our managers within the Trust on all HR issues ensuring that all advice supports Divisional and Trust objectives in accordance with legislation, NHS and Trust Terms and Conditions, Trust policies and procedures and HR best practice.

The ability to refer to the HR Manager or HR Business Partner will be available as and when required. Ensure that all managers implement Human Resources Policies in a fair and inclusive manner. Provide support in the implementation of the change agenda arising from national, regional and local Trust initiatives.


Take responsibility and accountability for delivering a high quality, professional HR service, acting as an ambassador for the HR profession.

Assist managers in the review of the workforce utilisation in line with changes to services to enhance the capacity to develop the workforce that has the skills and competences to provide safe and high-quality services.

Participate in the evaluation and grading of posts within the Trust, in accordance with Agenda for Change, and advise managers on the impact of the grading across the wider workforce.

Represent and/or deputise for the Human Resources Business Partner and or Human Resources Manager as required.
