Do you have experience of working with young people aged - 11?

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school?


St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy, Brigg are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in our existing dedicated and successful support team.

You will work with a range of students supporting them with issues such as low self-esteem, challenging behaviour, absence and punctuality.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 18 hours per week, on a term time only basis.

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, and we bring together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.


About the role


You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to work flexibly across all age groups and abilities.

This role complements the work of our Teachers by providing in-class and small group support to our children. There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.


You will:


  • Support the Classroom Teacher to inspire and enthuse our children
  • Be caring and supportive.
  • Be committed to achieving excellent results.
