What Are We Looking For?


Owing to continued sustainable growth, our in-house Design team is looking for Mechanical Engineers to join the established team in Dalgety Bay, working within our Water Technologies business.

You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspectsof projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

As part of industry-leading multi-disciplined project teams, some of your key duties will include:

  • Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implantation.
  • Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.
  • Develop design deliverables.
  • Complete checking and approval processes.
  • Arrange procurement of goods and services.
  • Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
  • Assemble contract works information documents.
  • Consider project health and safety, quality and environmental matters.
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.
  • Implement project change control and programme requirements.
  • Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
What do you need?

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards
  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry
