We have a fantastic opportunity for a Night Veterinary Patient Care Assistant to join our team here at PetMedics in Worsley
This role will involve working on a 4 on 4 off basis and will be between the hours of

The Patient Care Assistant role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, as a PCA you would be involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients, working alongside a lovely team of people.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

Main duties:

Nursing care to patients
Assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment
Cleaning, walking, and feeding of patients
Preparation of emergency and operating facilities
General cleaning and maintenance duties
Running internal lab samples
Answering emergency calls
Covering the receptionist desk, including answering queries, booking appointments and taking payments
To provide a friendly, efficient and effective service to clients

The salary for this position will be in line with the National Minimum Wage.
