Maths Mentor - Walderslade Girls' School

NJC Grade D2 points £16,759 - £19,025 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only

Fixed Term for One Year

We are looking to recruit a new member of the Maths team.

This role is fixed term for one year and will include a key focus on supporting learning within small targeted groups to support the classroom teacher and accelerate student progress.

The Maths team run numerous events across the year, number week, pie day, assessments, walking talking mock and both morning and after school revision.

Part of the maths mentor role would be to support in the organisation and preparation of these events.

You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to remain calm and be patient with students, and excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and young people.
